RENACIMIENTO (Eng: Rebirth; stylized in all caps) is the 5th studio album by American singer-songwriter Miss Red, released on March 3, 2007, through Blackout Entertainment and Diosa Records, with the international release being on March 3, 2007, through Kleopatra International. The album is her first through the Blackout label, after she decided to switch labels during her last album's tour, but chose to stay with her current company, SRC/UMG. The album according to Miss Red, is the first in which she has the most creative control.
Background & release[]
American singer Miss Red left her label Epic Records in 2003 after their financial dispute, and recorded her last two albums during the 2003-06 period. She recorded this one from 2005-06, with final overdubs and production done in January 2007. She released the lead single "Que Me Entierren Con la Banda" featuring her brother Lupillo Perez on February 4, 2007.
The album was officially released on March 3, 2007, Miss Red's 23rd birthday. The album was met with positive reviews.
